Did you get WES as both "Bachelor's equivalent to Canada Bahelor's" and "Master is equivalent to Canada Master's"
or WES just wrote about Master's equivalency and Bachelors was not mentioned anywhere?

Best Regards, Omsaiom

Sorry for asking this question again and again, but I just want to be extra sure on this.

So you did not have ECA evaluation for your Bachelor's degree and Master's degree seperately.

What you did is asked university to send both Bachelor's and Master's transcripts to WES and they evaluated both your degrees and provided you ECA letter stating "Canada equivalence: Master's " and there was no mention of Bachelor's at all in your ECA evaluation?

I am asking this question since I asked mine and my wife's university (where we did our Master's) to send transcripts to WES and we both got ECA evaluation as "Canada equivalence: Master's "
But we did not send our Bachelor's transcripts at all.
I went through similar queries in this forum and there is a mixed response on having ECA done for both the degrees.

Sorry for all the inconvenience.

Best Regards,
Omsaiom

You will only get CRS points for your 'Highest' level of Education. I think this was done otherwise a person who had a Bachelor's, Masters, PHD, other certificates could get more than 600 points without having an LMIA or a PNP.

Don't waste your money. Only send your highest qualification (in your case Masters degree).

Pls don't be sorry. We have all gone thru these.

My report had mention of my bachelor's and master's both. The header of the document had " Canada equivalent of Master's". They had processed my bachelor and master in one application only. You can get all you degrees (bachelors, masters, PhD) verified in one application OR get the highest degree verified ONLY!

Considering you and your spouse already have Master's as canada equivalent, you are good to go. Don't send your bachelor's now, you will only end up spending more cash. Go ahead with the application with you master's equivalent WES report and all the best 8)

This is something that we can all benefit from for sure. English is my first language but the last time I actually sat and wrote something with a pen was far too long ago!

Hi Zanny,

Even my ECA was upgraded to masters by WES in its revised report. As you know WES issues revised report with report no. same as original but with a new date. My query is while filling up the columns we submit the new date I.e. of the revised report but while uploading the scanned doc, did u submit only the revised report OR both original & revised.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I made a mistake on my EE profile for job starting date. I started working there in December 2013 but accidentally put in November 2013. I got the ITA for the draw in December, so still have 2 years of experience and my CRS will remain the same even if I change the date on my application now but I am worried If this is an excuse for them ro refuse my application.
In November 2013 I was a full time stident in Canada so I was not working full time.
Any suggestions will help!

Dear Zanny,
I saw in your post that your funds were mainly located on your spouse's account. Looks like I am also in the same situation! Please could you advise something to solve my issues?
The matter is this. All our savings are on spouse's account, and the bank refuses to make a joint account for us (they do not have such policy in my country). The only thing they have suggested is to make an authorization letter from her to me, giving me the full rights to use the funds. However, now we are very suspicious whether it will work this way. Will this be sufficient, or may be we'd rather transfer the money to my account? Meanwhile, I had an account at the same bank few years ago, later it was closed, but they told if I wish to create a new account, they will reopen the old one, however there won't be any history in the 6-months back statements. So, Please advise something, seems you are the only member here who has been in the same boat... :-X
P.s. the statement of spouse's account shows that money have been transferred to her from her parents as 'fin.support'. Is there anything to do with that? In case if they consider that there is not enough information, will they require further evident documents, or this is direct refusal?

Does it say anywhere that funds cannot be in an accompanying spouse's account? I have read other people who were trying to move funds into the account of the Primary Applicant and I couldn't understand why.

I would also like to believe that it will do, but there are many confusing opinions over here stating that they are strict about that

CIC doesn't say that anywhere but they do explicitly ask for POF only from the PA. There was at least 1 forum member who reported that CIC considered only the funds available in the member's account and questioned them about the balance POF even though the applicant had shown accompanying spouse's accounts as well. The accompanying spouse's money wasn't considered by CIC probably because it wasn't a joint account with the PA's name on it as well.
