length of pgwp changes on14th feb ,2019

I have one confusion regarding length of pgwp as per the changes on 14th feb,2019.
What would be the length of pgwp after doing two programs EACH OF 8 months ( 1 academic yr) back to back?
Im not getting clarity from the canada.ca website.
Kindly clear this doubt with authenticity.

You will be given PGWP according to the duration of your studies.

So for instance, you did an 8 month program and then another one = 16 months PGWP.

However, if you did the coursework of two programs , each 8 months long in 1 year = 1 year PGWP

In short, PGWP is accorded based on ACTUAL duration of studies.

Could you please tell me, what is the pgwp does a 2 year post graduation program (but 16 months actual duration of study, 4 semesters) can get ?, Thank you
