Hey everyone,
I am currently preparing my application to immigrate to Québec, and I have been checking every online resource including this forum for guidance. I read some great advices here, and the atmosphere is really positive and helpful, some people are really helpful and friendly. Thank you.
Now I am a Lebanese, and I have been living in Qatar for 5 years now. But now I want to move to Montreal. So I am preparing all the documents, can you please let me know if i have everything covered, or if I am missing something:
1. I have to fill 2 application forms (Application for Selection Certificate) for me and my wife.
2. I have to fill 1 form (Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency)
3. Attach 1 image of myself(the Principal applicant) and 1 image of my wife to our application forms.
4. Get a traveler's check with the amount of (352 CAD + 152 CAD), addressed to the (Ministre des Finances du Québec).
5. Attach my diploma, and my wife's diploma.
6. Attach our TEFaQ results.
7. Attach an updated CV for both myself and my wife.
This is in short what I understood from this link (immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/biq/damascus/dcs-workers/list-documents.html) and some of the posts I read on this forum.
But I feel that this list is lacking some important items, here is a short list of the things that I think I should attach as well, but I am not sure, so can you guys please let me know which of these to add to my file.
1. Do I need to send my passport or a copy of the pages?
2. Do I need to attach a police clearance of every place I have spent more than 6 months in, in the past 10 years?
3. Do I need to attach an authenticated translation of the (family book)?
4. Do I need to attach an authenticated translation of the Extract of Individual Civil Registry Record (Ikhraj Kaid Fardi)?
5. Do I need to send more than 1 image of me and my wife?
6. Do I need to attach the reference letters from my employers to my file, or should I have them ready by the time I have my interview?
Now I have a couple of extra questions to ask, and I really hope someone who has already experienced it can help me.
1. What language should I use in the forms, and what language should I translate the official documents to, French or English?
2. On the form entitled (Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency), am I to list the calculated minimum amount of funds(for example 4,106 CAD for me and my wife only). Or can I just say that I will have 10,000 CAD with me when I get to Québec.
3. Also regarding the funds, are we just supposed to secure 4,106 CAD? cz I read in the Federal Skilled Worker requirements that you need to secure 13,387 CAD with you for the couple without chilren. Is this something different, or do we need to have that amount when our application is passed from Québec to the federal processing.
4. What do they mean by (8 sticky labels)??
5. I was supposed to send my application to Damascus, but due to the situation there they moved to Montreal. Should I still send my application to Syria, and it will be re-routed? or should I send it directly to Montreal? If so, is this the right address?

Thank you all in advance, and I hope you can help me with this.
