You don't have anything to lose, if Qatar could accept you before, it would definitely accept you after being Canadian, give it a try and since you are single, chances that you would survive and succeed is too much ! So good luck for all your future endeavors !

well thats a tricky question my friend!!

i live in saudi and i am 29 masters degree well paid amazing multinational company!

i am single.... i am still applying... i know it would be hard to get to canada and then again start looking for a job ....specially once you have a good job with good amount of money falling in your bank account every month .. who would want to leave that job and go to a new place and start from the scratch!!!

but how ever i have a plan and that is to first get my canadian PR then take a vaccation from my current job go to canada look for a job for a month or two and find a job while i am still getting paid for my time in canada from my current employer and then if i find it come back to saudi resign my job here and go back there!!

but the first step is to get the PR ..

i hope this answers your question

i would suggest apply for EE as it would hardly cost you for the entire process around 5000 QAR.

once you have your visa then you can decide and in the mean time keep applying for jobs in canada through job bank or other portals

all the best

I am in the same situation. I live in Saudi, I'm 28, single, and working for a good company. Having lived all my life in Saudi Arabia though, for me, I feel it is time to move on. I also have a brother living in Canada as well, so that kind of makes it easier for me to move. I think moving to country that gives equal rights to everyone is the one thing that really attracts me. First world country too.

It will be hard to leave everything behind, but I think it is a step that has to be taken.

Best of luck to all!!

Holy monkey balls!! I was just reading some of the failure stories. I am starting to have second thoughts!! Rather than quitting my current job, I think I will take a few months off, see how things are in Canada, then make a decision.

Yeah these people dont seem they are rare cases, the economy is small and the white collar jobs is hard to get unlike GCC where you get 2 offers a day if you are good .... at the same time you all know the cons of it here ... well very confusing lol ..
