Leave Canada with Work Permit and re-enter

Hello,

I have a valid Canadian visa and closed work permit and live in BC. Can I leave Canada and return by flight, landing in a different province than where I live (Québec for example) and then take a domestic flight to BC? Where do visa checks happen?

Suspect that visa checks before you even board the flight. Your first interaction with CBSA (to verify your eligibility to actually enter Canada) would be the first airport where you deplane.

You go through immigration at the first point of entry into Canada.

Do you currently have job and are you working in BC and when does the WP expire? What are you actually trying to ask? If you are already living and working in BC these are weird questions to ask.
