LCP (Live in Caregiver) to Skilled Worker Category

hi everyone! I am already here in Canada under the live-in caregiver program. I've had a problem with my first employer so I had to find another family but they did not process my documents and all. I was wondering if it is possible for me to change my line of work, instead of being a live-in caregiver, can I get a job under the skilled worker category?

The prospective employer still has to obtain a LMO for a skilled position.

yes i know.. thank you! sorry i was a bit unclear. somebody told me that since i came to canada under the LCP, that is the only line of work i am allowed to do. is that true? let's say i am able to find a job at a nursing home and they are willing to process a new lmo and permit for me, won't there be any issues regarding visa and work permit? as we all know, live-in caregiver is a different category from federal skilled worker.
