Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Hi guys,
About a month ago my GCMS notes was generated but I'm a bit confused. On it the last Note says "File to CLG for C Review"
Hitherto;
Eligibility: Passed (Got 74 points)
Adm/Criminality: UK PC x2 Dated Feb 2012 Rec'd. Appear clean
Medical: In progress
Security: Not started
Criminality: Not started

Just last week Ecas was updated with Medical results have been received. Can anyone predict when PPR will be sent and what is the "C Review" thing and what is CLG on the GCMS?

2) Tick both access to information act and privacy act.

3) Tick both CAIPS and GCMS

4) You are correct

6) Ask your uncle to include copy of his PR card or Canadian passport and copy of his current bill or bank statement.

Great write-up. Can you help with some questions.


I came into canada as PR and I want to get my & family (wife & 2 kids) file and all related information. Can I request for everything under Privacy act or do i have to pay the fees.


I had applied for PR for my parents and their file have been transferred to Ottawa. Do i need my parents consent to get the information on that file (since this is my application for their PR and I am also their representative) if no consent needed can i get the information under Privacy act?

If consent is needed then then my parents are coming to Canada in the end of May. Once they are in canada can we order all their information under Privacy act without any fee (since they are in canada so they can order themselves).

I also undestand that if we ask for local visa information that will take time to get stuff quickly can I make one request which is just CAIPS / GCMS Notes and one (after 15 days or so) which has everything.

Which sections under Section B of form IMM5563E should be filled to get information quickly to exclude visa information

I am starting this thread because of repeated enquiries on how to order latest CAIPS / GCMS and what forms we need to download. So here we go once for all. Many thanks.......


1) Sir Kanamen is doing it for free.

Sir Kanamen is offering CAIPS / GCMS for free. If some body wants to use him here is the link

2) But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca


b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

Based on my little knowledge, I advice GCMS notes if - (1) you're called for an interview or (2) If they dnt get in touch within a 6 months period, send CSE first and if they dnt reply with detail info just go for GCMS notes

Congratulations you're almost through!

PIL and WEW seem to be initials of visa officers. But WEW will be treating your file round about 27.5.12

Your waiting is over! You have nothing to worry about since you have 72 points already, interview had been waived, and passed security checks. Security and Criminality usually goes together. Expect good news shortly!

I have asked my sister to request CAIPS for me. I emailed here the signed copy of the form. She paid the by credit card and printed the receipt.

In the receipt, she needs to fill out some information. Name, Date of Birth, Client ID and address.....so whose information should she put here? should it be her name and address and date of birth? how about the client ID. she does not have a client ID.
