Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Hi,

Plz tell me which box do we need to tick..Access to Information Act or Privacy Act? My husband,a canadian citizen who has sponsored me,will be sending the ATIP request most probably online,with me sending a scanned copy of the Consent Form from my end.

Access to Information Act -- since your husband needs the spouse info. You should tick Access to Information act.

hey guys last month i sent request to get informatio to access for one of my friend and i got it today.

actually I wanted to see what kind of Experience certificates or documents his Previous consultant sent to immigration for his PR.

this GCMS what i have got shows nothing and no documents are sent to me.

what kind of information i had to send and GCMS is CAIPS or not?

I want to get information where it shows all the documents will sent to me.

Please advise seniors and all who can help

Check for physical files instead of electronic file when you will apply for gcms for the next time. they will mail you the photocopy of all the files.

doesn't that take long time and why would they send me photocopy of file in physical not in email? just curious

email is faster and easy to send right?

I don't see any difference between physical and electronic other then paper copy and email in this. why would they not send file in email and why in physical?

Physical files are form that you filled in and submit to cic. electronic files are their entries to the gcms system. Well with physical files they mail you as they aren't gonna spend so much time in scanning and emailing to you.

Seniors need advise. I will apply gcms through visafile. But my query is wat question do they ask, coz they ask for the payment first n after paying if m not ready with the answers, then I might loose my amount . So guide me friends who have applied gcms. Thanks

Hi friends I have just received my GCMS/CAIPS notes. they have 62 pages and details about every single movement in my file since i applied.

in the end of the notes under the heading notes 1
it says
Upadted by:

Label: General
Office: New Delhi
Text: FILE NOT RFV. MEDICAL RESULTS NOT RECD SO FAR, FILE PA'ED.

the details of the file show that I and my son have passed their medicals but the medicals of my husband show the status sent. we all got our medicals done on the same date and had sent them. our rmp had done emedicals.
the complication in our case was that I and my son received the medical forms from the high commission but my husband did not. the hospital where i had my medicals done had the facility of emedicals and said they can do the medicals of my husband without the forms. So we got it done. they gave us three medical papers for each of us which we then sent to the embassy along with all the other documents required.
on the same say when we had sent our docs the high commission sent us the medical forms for my husband which were emailed to my agent. my agent did not inform me about the forms thinking that we have already sent the complete application package.
Its been 5 months already.

file status is in progress.

We went to the hospital again to ask what should be done. they told us that if we get the form sent by the embassy filled by them then that would mean doing the medical again for my husband which wil just delay the entire process. they said all we need to do is email the high commission the UMI no that is the medical code for my husband and inform them that his medical was done on this date and the UMi code is this.


Please help me with 2 things:
1) what is the exact meaning of the line written in the text row of the CAIPS I have pasted above.
2) what is the best solution for my husband's medicals

there are no complicated questions. its ur file number, yours and wife full name, date of birth and ur file number. dont worry you will not lose amount.

visit visafile.info for caips notes details if u r out of canada then you can not apply yourself. but if u r in canada then u can apply there your self.

Did you receive your notes ? It's close to 2 months for me now.

i applied for gcms notes but haven't receive anything is about 39 days. any one know why it take long to get gcms notes. did strike affect this?
i order gcms notes before and received in 30 days.
please share your information.
