I am in the same boat. I applied for notes on 2nd July, haven't received them as yet. On enquiring, they said its going to take some more time.

Has anybody tried ordering CAIPS/GCMS notes recently ? Its been more than 45 days, and I am yet to receive it. Everytime I email them back regarding its status, they tell me "We're going to send them as soon as possible". Is strike having its toll on CAIPS/GCMS notes as well ???

Mubu, Heard few months back on this forum, that sometimes CIC extends medical validity to 18 months from 12 months. But not sure whether they are actually going to do it this time. My medicals too will expire in Nov, 13. Tough part is that we cannot really do anything at this stage.

KDSTTL, I have almost similar timelines as you, and have submitted passport. Did you try ordering CAIPS notes, to see what's going on with the file. As I noticed in mine, my medicals were not updated till date.

There's PAFSO strike going on and not all staff is working in NDVO. Hence, the delay. Barring one or two people, haven't heard anybody getting stamped passport back.

Search for CIC ATIP on google or search for CAIPS/GCMS on this forum, you'll get the answer.

I would suggest ordering GCMS notes. It would help you in clarifying your file's current status.
