Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Dear All,

I requested for CAIPS 2nd time and got it yesterday. I didnt understand about certain points. Can anyone pls help. It's as follows: -
1. On page 1, under Group name:- MI1-RFV DOCS PENDING and Type: - PR-TEMPORARY PROCESSING. What does these indicate?
2. Group name: - 1-19EL9DH (what does it means?)
3. On Page 2, Under ASSESMENTS: - Eligibility: - Passed, Security and HIRV: - It's blank, Criminality : - Passed. I want to know is anyone else got anything under Security and HIRV?
4. Location: - ECU-PA (What does it means)?
5. Application Assignment: - Due date : - 01/01/2013 (nothing happened on this date though)
6. Finally, under NOTES: - on 23/08/12, it's written ‘NO ACTION REQUIRED AT THIS TIME HENCE FILE PAED' and ‘PA-PLS REQUEST THE FOLLOWING WHEN INSTRUCTED TO DO SO- PPTs (CURRENT)*2- MEDS*2-RPRF*2

You should excpect very soon your Med's, and PPR. (PA - the officer resp. for your application, will request them when instructed)
My CAIPS notes had nothing at security and HIRV, probably they do the background check on your file.

Dear cocknbull,
I applied fr CAIPS and privacy act thru my bro, on 1st January. But my lawyer says they wont give him caips this time as we are representing it now. Is it true that thy wont gv caips to my elder bro? Is it must that lawyer should do it aftr hiring him?

I applied fr CAIPS and privacy act thru my bro, on 1st January. But my lawyer says they wont give him caips this time as we are representing it now. Is it true that thy wont gv caips to my elder bro? Is it must that lawyer should do it aftr hiring him?

Hi!. I think your lawyer is not correct here. Your brother will be able to get GCMS for you. He should tick "access to information act" in IMM5563 as he needs to pay $5 fees. Please note that now CIC is asking for new consent form IMM5744. Check this link

As u cleared earliest, I read the procedure b4 applying and both forms and procedure is a bit chngd. So I sent Imm5744. And I also applied fr Privacy act and on this form I ticked Physical file I guess. Privacy act is free of charge. And ticked electronic files fr ATIP. What do u think will I get any results after applying fr privacy act? Did anyone on ths forum or thread apply fr privacy act or even try? What were results then? Lets see. I think my lawyer nt doing well he seems lazy.

My previous company split in to two parts and none of them has the previous name please inform me what should I do, which documents should I need to submit the LVO.? Any body has faced this situation?

AOA dear. You have made a mistake, as your brother applied for you so he had to tick "access to information act" and also he had to pay $5 fees. If some one orders CAIPS/GCMS for himself and he/she is residing in Canada then he should tick "privacy act" and only then he doesn't need t pay $5.0 but if some one orders CAIPS/GCMS for other person who is not living in Canada then he/she needs to tick "access to information act" and has to pay $5.0.

He also had to tick electronic files and then status of application. Physical files option is not right and you will not get correct notes. Now what you do ask your brother to send another IMM5563 form by email and advise them of changes and also pay $5 fees, other wise you will not get correct notes. Thanks

Hi!

Dear you can send them a cover letter and explain this thing. This is not unusual. In terms of verification if you provide telephone nos of one old company and two new companies, visa officer can telephone and verify from each that they were a different company before. I guess you don't need to send any such documents, just write a cover letter and explain this thing and ask them they can verify this information if they like.

I don't know if the new companies will give you such letter but you can try getting a letter from two new companies on their letter head that they operated under a different name before and are now split. Thanks

Which option to select for section c: information requested (Not sure what is the difference)
4A) status of an application
4C) Electronic Files

1) Select a) access to information act if you are not in Canada and some one is applying GCMS on your behalf, he also need to pay $5 fees

2) 4a) select "status of application" and select "electronic files"

Really appreciate if anyone got his/her CAIPS notes after status changed from "In Process" to "DM" so that actual reason may be seen. Please share. Especially pre-2008 applicants. Thanks.
