Hi!

Every thing looks fine for you. Eligibility is passed which is the back bone of your application. You will receive medicals sooner than later. You can send them CSI to check the status but according to your GCMS there is nothing worrying or adverse. Keep your fingers crossed. Good luck..

Dear All!

I am here after a long time but I want to share some vital info about CAIPs / GCMS notes as I have ordered it 3 times myself.

1) First of all whenever you order CAIPS / GCMS your visa office gets informed and it is noted in the same notes and you can see this entry in next notes in incoming correspondence but there are no adverse affects and you can order as many times as you like.

2) Some info can be hidden or omitted from your notes as it is according to their act that some info is exempted from release under access of information act 16(1)(c) or 15(1) or 19(1) etc.. So whenever you get CAIPS / GCMS email or letter first check if they have talked about any act like 15(1) or 16(1)(c) etc and if it is so then it is for sure that some info can be omitted or hidden from your notes and you can observe a whitener be placed on some parts of notes.

I have seen for people whose job verification was done and who had concerns about their files received this kind of GCMS email

"The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section(s) 16(1)(c) injurious to the enforcement of any law of Canada or a province or the conduct of lawful investigations, 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act."

It was interesting to see that in first GCMS notes before verification of job all the concerns were hidden under section 16(1)(C) and 15(1) and once the job verification was done then in next notes they had uncovered the concerns . So if you receive email like above be prepared they have concerns about your file which they are hiding.

I hope the above helps people in sorting out CAIPS / GCMS.

Hi!

Eligibility is passed means the main hurdle is over. As you have received 6-12 months wait letter so there is no BFD and your last BFD was 29-5-12. Just wait for your turn and you will get medicals sooner or later but most probably sooner.

Counterfoil required means they will stamp visa on your passport, counterfoil is not required in case of people who don't need a visa to travel to Canada like people holding UK or US passport etc..

In my initial application I showed POF as 32K CAD for 4 members but in my GCMS its mentioned as only 22K n says POF: PASSED. Why is that ?????

As per the GCMS notes the mentioned POF will not be sufficient for 5 members as it will need 23K for 5 members.
. Why is that inspite of showing 32K CAD its mentioned in my GCMS notes only 22K for my daughter update do I need to show again the POF...
Will my POF sending again for 35K CAD will be beneficial rather to wait for them to ask POF again due to addition of member.
If they would have mentioned 32K instead of 22K it wouldn't it nessary for me to send POF again while adding my daugher.

Hi!

POF passed means you have enough funds and this requirement is met. He might have made a mistake and only mentioned 22k instead of 32k. In my opinion send all your daughter's docs to include in your application and if you can easily get POF docs then send it as well but if you can't get updated proof of funds docs then there is no need to send because "proof of funds" condition is already passed.

I have seen on this forum that mostly people who added new borns to their application did not send updated pof with new born's documents and it wasn't either asked by visa office but if you can easily manage new pof for a family of five then its better to send it. Thanks

My agents argues that we cannot sent it pro actively based on GCMS report unless LVO officially asks for it.

Please advice is that true..my concern is any ways we are sending my daughter addition documents so why not send all required doc together whats mentioned in the notes asked.

Hi!

I think you wait for these documents to be asked for because London visa office put on hold on your application by sending you 6-12 months wait letter and in that letter they stated not to contact them unless there is a change in your situation. So if you send these documents now they might not be reviewed. Only send your daughter's documents now. Thanks

I am under MI-I FSW category (NOC 4131) applicant from New Delhi Visa Office. I have already got two GCMS in June 10 and October 4 respectively. In the first GCMS under ASSESSMENTS in pg 2, Eligibility: Passed, Criminality: Passed, and Medical: Not Started. Similarly, the 2nd GCMS I received in October also states the same ASSESSMENTS. For your information, the Text under NOTES 1 in both of the GCMS read "FOLLOWING EMAIL RECD.FM APP FWDD TO EN/ZB IN MPR::here includes a mail I had sent to the VO in May, 2012 in response to the letter of the VO seeking the same documents which I had already sent). I have not got the MR yet. Could you please suggest me what may be the status of my case? What does EN/ZB IN MPR stand for? How long may it take for MR? Should I again request for another GCMS?? Is there likelihood of any misfortune with my case?
