Dont you worry. It takes exact 5 days but to be precies working 5 days . And call them up in their working hour on 0008001008747. if they tell you that they have received funds in next 24 hours you will have your reciept . And make sure all other documents are rready to go utilize this waiting period in preparation of file.

coincidentally i also transferred the funds on 19th and received swift copy on 20th but i haven't received my gic just like you where as my friend got it in 3 days .. i'm really scared that i might get delayed because of this & may not make it in to september batch

i just called Scotia Bank 10 mins. ago the representative said that they received My Funds Yesterday and they will send me the email tomorrow evening
as they send emails only in morning (canadian morning time)

just received my gic certificate

guys plz tell me one thing, is it mandatory to sign gic certificate by me?

my consultant is saying there is no need to do this..they just send it 'as it'

no it is not mandatory as i have also did not sign on gic

i would advise you to transfer funds to scotia bank through icici bank as my friend went through with icici and recieved his gic in 3 days
i made a mistake by going with HDFC bank
