One of our forum members has shared this news with us that visa stamping quota for 2009 is lapsed for isb chc. Apparently it seems so since no PPR requests are being issued. However, I would appreciate if anyone has any solid news on same and also on the possible delay in issuing PPR +PA letters / emails.

No quota system for Fast Track or Provincial Nominee and further CHC is not delaying in cases.
Standard time is 6-12 months

i am referrign towards trackit cases and general experiance from forum. u cannot deny regarding delay in issuing PA and PPR's

furhtermore, the delay meant comparative delay compared to earlier cases

In my opinion you got it all wrong, let me explain you.
Miniter K said we will have 90,000 immigrants in 2009. this mean we are expecting these much application to be processes. Check the statistics esp from labor department in 2008 the number of people became immigrant were higher than mentioned in press. Plus they also assume that 20-30% people will not move in straight away and give them settlement time of 2 years. So, just chill, am from Pakistan doin my PhD in Canada. I have been to lot of country, when I was applying for my first student visa for UK people were telling me that every there is a quota on number of students from Pakistan and it’s already filled, therefore British embassy is delaying case, and from that day am listening rumours. These types of people are time waster speaking without out looking into authenticity of news.
The delay can be higher number of application, and last month may be you have read number of embassies have decrease their staff in Pakistan due to current situation.

i hope n pray u r right. secondly its not my opinion and i just wrote what i have been communciated from a forum member

My two cents;
The real reason might be related to slower economy around the world, less Canadian trade with US, higher CDN dollar value costing Canadian goods to be more expensive for importers and last but not least current Pakistani political and security conditions which spiked in the number of days security checks needed to be completed on an applicant.

@ New Yorker,

Your two cents is worth two dollars - a very analytical approach, especially the last part. Lets hear from some other non-Pakistani members also.

Thanks.
