Language proficiency

Dear friends,

I have to apply for citizenship for which language proficiency is required.

We have studied English all our lives and our degrees from back home are also in English.

Is any other document required to be filed with the application or will the degrees from University of Punjab suffice.

You can send following to CIC as language proof:

1. Photocopy of the degree(s)
2. Photocopies of marksheets
3. Transcripts, if possible
4. Letter from university/college that the "language of instruction" was english unless your degree states "english medium"

Now, once you send your documents to cic, the officer working on it will determine if it will be accepted as a language proof. They might have internal criteria to check if the proof is acceptable or not example: type of degree, marks scored etc.

I have done Bachelors and Masters from India in Computers and sent the documents as 1-4 and those were accepted.
