hello,
i just received my COPR and thinking to land @ rainbow bridge on the coming sat. (mar.22), i was reading many other's posts and they mentioned that the office there are refusing them to land there and have to set appt with the cic office? Is that correct?
I do have a US visa, what if I go to buffalo and spend half a day and come back? Do you think it will work in that case?
And while i'm crossing the US board, should i just tell them that i'm going to shop around? or should i tell him that i will shop around and do the landing after?

Definitely cross to the US. I heard many cases where they couldn't land doing flagpole because the didn't "actually" leave the country.

I just did it last week with no issues.

About crossing to the US, I only mentioned that I was going for shopping (which is true), but you shouldn't have any problem if you also mention that you are doing the landing.

I did flagpoling and had no problem. Just make sure you are there early in the morning. Because those who have been told to call CIC, were there in the busy hours of the day. It seems since there were many people in the line, the officer just sent them to CIC office to reduce the work load!
