My file was under review, but after I got the medical request it was super fast. I read that the time depends on the countries you lived before. Medical Request Feb 27th Sent UMI on Feb 28th (I did the medicals upfront) RPRF & Biodata Mar 4th Status changed to Medical Received on Mar 7th Status...

Sorry to hear this. At some point, did you apply for an LMO extend your work permit? If you did, that means that HR Canada approved your position, so you can use that to try to apply again.

Hi iam_toby. Sorry, I know this was probably responded on your last post but I just wanted to be sure. I currently have a closed Work Permit, so I can only work with the same company, same location and same position. If I obtain a BOWP, will it allow me to work wherever I want in Canada? Thanks!

I don't mean to discourage you, but mine said Due Date Jan 18th, and I didn't get any communication. I'm waiting now for a new set of notes. On the bright side, I think you have a good chance to be approved if your NOC and duties are correct, but we will need to wait a little longer.

Welcome to the club. I'm in a similar situation, also Feb Applicant. Not sure how long it is taking to do the second review. Maybe we are just back to the queue.... If you have any document that would help your case based on the VO comments, send it ASAP

Since you haven't received you MR, I would check the Eligibility Assessment (which probably is "Review Required") and the NOTES section at the end which will explain why.

Did you receive new GCMS notes recently? Is there any change since the file was sent to another officer? I understand that every case is different, but the issue here is that they take 10 months to start working on your file and if they need a second review, we are sent back to the queue...

Similar issue here. Notes say that NOC apparently doesn't match duties. App received Feb 14,2013 File under "Review Required" Dec 12, 2013 This is taking too long...
