I am moving to Canada from the US (California).

We have a car to import to Canada but we are not planning to drive the car to Canada. We are flying instead. So my option would be to just ship the car. Any good car/auto shipping that you can suggest?

Thanks in advance.
I'm assume that you already do your homework and know the requirements to import your car and also the estimates to convert the car to KM and to the winter of AB.

Here is one place that can give you a decent quote:

Good Luck!

I drove my car to canada...so cannot help you there...i'd say, get quotes from atleast 3 different companies and have them bid against each other to get your business.

Good luck!

Optimus,

I just checked your profile on track it...just wanted to let you know that it is absolutely essential to carry your driving abstract when you move to canada...also get letters from your auto insurance companies (present and past) to show that you have been continously insured and to reflect claims if any.

Irrespective for how many years of driving exp you have, you are considered a brand new driver for the roads in canada unless you are able to prove otherwise.

Good luck with everything.
