Hi All,
First of all thanks to all those who have replied to me over the last several months and to all those who have contributed to here to help one another. This is definitely a great forum that has helped me and others get educated ourselves.
I have finally received my Resident visa in my passport and COPR, and trying to plan my landing procedure. I live in TX, USA and was wondering what options I might have and some questions :
1. Land
a. can we do the soft landing and begin the PR card application process at the same time. Are there any time restrictions if we are crossing by road. If so how might I find them out so I can be there at the right time.
b. is it possible to apply for SIN right at the crossing or is it a separate office I'd have to visit.
2. Air

b. is it possible to apply for SIN right at the airport. Is it any different between Vancouver or Toronto. We are looking at these airports to land.
Also what is the process for applying for a bank account and credit card so we get credit history started as soon as we land. Are there banks that will give credit as soon as we land that is without a job offer yet. Are there any recommendations of how we can go about this, and what banks we can consider that is economical etc.,
