You can land at the Sidney Ferry dock from the international ferry from Anacortes or San Juan -- I did! also maintaining the ancient tradition of coming to Canada by boat . . . The immigration officer told me I was the first in many months.

This response comes very late to the replies but for future members with the same question. Yes, you CAN get "land" at Point Roberts. I had my COPR and 'landed' today.
