Landing paper not in possession

Hello
I am in the process of applying for citizenship. Document checklist indicates that provide a copy of landing paper. We had a robbery back in september last year at our place and the person took all my important documents including my social insurance, health card, landing paper, income tax documents etc. On the form in checklist, it says If I dont have the landing paper in my possession, Please provide explanation and see section 1 to gather documents. Please let me know if anyone ever applied for citizenship without the landing paper and what was the success rate ?

Best that you have a copy of it to speed up the process. Why risk it?
Why not start requesting for it? Documentation is very important.

you are right but I looked at the application processing time for replacement certificate and it takes 6 months to replace the landing paper

if you have PR Card & Drivers licence you can apply VOR or replacement of pr document which cost $50, new Health card can be applied with drivers licence alone tomorrow @ service Ontario easily. You must let know service canada your SIN is robbed they know what to do, feilure to do so is major issue if its used by criminals you might be liable, Meanwhile stay safe while on street and don't bring junkie lames home.

A family friend received the VoS document in about a month (not the 6-month time they have on website) so it's not that bad.
Hopefully this is good news for those that need it and are applying.

I got the VOS in email (PDF format) . That was quick in less than 20 days !!

Any experience in applying citizenship with VoS and expired PR card and passport?

Is that even possible? do we need a valid passport and pr card to apply for citizenship?
