Hi everyone :), i hope someone can help me.

We're leaving at the beginning of july and i kept searching for planes, the best offers i found had 1 stop at Toronto airport. However, i want to land in Montreal. Since my first stop in Canada will be in Toronto, will they obligate me to do the whole landing procedure in Toronto? or can i postpone it for Montreal (so i won't have to wait too much in Toronto - who knows, even lose the next flight).

Does anyone have an idea?

You have to do the landing procedure at your first point of entry into Canada, so that would be Toronto if you land there first. The next leg is domestic, so there is no option to talk to immigration.

oh ok.. it's kinda risky then.. thanks for your reply, MilesAway.

It can be done, but only if you book a nice long layover in Toronto. Anything less than 3 hours and you run the risk of missing your connection. They should just put you on the next flight to Montreal if you miss the connection, and thankfully, there are a ton of flights from Toronto to Montreal.
