Landing in Canada. Does it matter not coming directly from country of origin?

Just wondering, if a spouse was approved as as family class outbound sponsorship (China), does it matter if she lands to Canada from another country?
Will this raise any red flags at interviews at airport?

I don't think it matters. Especially, those travelers with a layover or two such as London Heathrow.

It does not matter. I was on work visa in Dubai and landed to Canada from Dubai.No worries.

I hope so.
My story is not a layover.
My spouse has more family outside of China so we were thinking of doing a small farewell party slash reception in Korea before coming to Canada.
Didn't want to raise any red flags or suspicions.

It does not matter. My American wife officially landed after coming in from a flight from Germany where we were on vacation.
