Do we need to carry IMM544E form at the time of first landing. Is it mandatory?

Can anybody give me details about a) List of Items Accompanying (BSF 186); b) List of Goods to Follow (BSF186A) and declaration card.
Link to download this, Do we have to mention every item we bring with us separately, like Clothing (Pant, shorts, jacket etc.....) and what is exactly goods to follow ? Thanks in advance.

Here's the declaration card which you'll receive in the international flight bound to a canadian airport:

Hi all,

I got my CoPR in April. Will be flying to Canada on 11th sep to do my landing. (Will stay for 5 days and then come back).

On the CoPR, it's written that we need to inform them in case of significant change in health, before arriving.

my question: I got stones in kidney, though they are small in size. It was diagnosed last week only. Doc says it will be dissolved by medicines. I am taking those for 1 month. It doesn't look like a significant change in health conditions to me. Is there any guidelines on what should be reported? Not sure what to do. Pls advise.

Well, if you are taking your medicines with you to Canada, which you probably are, you will need to declare them upon landing, and if you declare those medicines without first having intimated CIC about a change in health status, it could get... messy.
I recommend that you let your VO know about your diagnosis, and also make it clear that a month's prescription of medicines, which you already have, is apparently going to be enough to dissolve the stones, without any further medical care needed.
That should be enough, and it should cover you.

I don't think this falls under the category of "significant" change in health. "Significant", IMO, means something of a very serious nature - TB, AIDS, Cancer etc,. Not Kidney stones.

Hi All,
Iam planning to land Canada,Toronto in October last week time for 2 weeks to apply the PR card.
I could not find anyone in my known circle to support with shared accommodation yet.
Is there any group from this forum live in Canada,Toronto where I can also stay for 2 weeks.
Also I would prefer to share the same address to receive the PR card so that they can send to my India address.
Also, share the rent that I will have to pay.

Please share ASAP the details so that I can book the tickets .My visa expires on 10-nov-16.
Thankyou
Vijay

Hi Everyone,

I have a query regarding my COPR document. I have got my copr letter along with that of my husband's and daughter's ( 3 months old).

I am the principal applicant and in the last item of Copr " Have you any dependents other than mentioned below"

I see both my husband's and daughter's name which is absolutely correct..

But in my daughter's copr letter, my name along with UCI is mentioned below that line ( Have you any dependents other than mentioned below"), i want to know if this is how it should be ( as she is my dependent and i am not hers)

and in my husband's copr letter , it is also the same ( i.e my name below that line and not of my daughter's ).

Is it because i am the principal applicant.

There is no issue with your COPR. That's how they usually print it.

You are good to land without any problem :D
