Dear friends, Need your help again regarding Goods Accompanying and Goods to Follow

1. For doing the landing, I am going to stay in Canada with my family for 1 week. We will bring back everything when we return back to US.
Should i put the list of items we are carrying as 'Goods Accompanying' in B4 form
OR
We don't have to fill out the B4 form?

2. Goods to follow - Everything that we are carrying + what will eventually follow including my car will go into GTF list.
Is this correct?

3. What should be the 'Classification type' on B4 form. We are going to stay only for 1 week while landing. Should i select 'Settler' or 'Seasonal resident'?

4. There is no mention of B4A form in cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-border.asp
I was able to find it on CBSA website cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4a.pdf
I hope it is still in use as the B4 form has only 8 rows for declaration of goods.

Thanks in advance once again.

B4 or B4A

B4 goods accompanying. B4a goods to follow.

Note/hint: says so on the forms.

These forms B4 have only 8 rows. Can I use a plain sheet to list the accompanying goods that could not be captured on the form?

1. You need the B4 form (good accompanying) - if you are not bring anything you don't need it. Just the customs declaration would do
2. Goods to follow = Goods to 'follow' in your second trip.
3. Seasonal resident = "non-resident of Canada and you acquire or lease a residence in Canada for seasonal use for at least 36 months" So you are not a seasonal resident. You would be permanent resident from the day you land
4. Just use plain sheet of paper along with the form.

Hi,

I am a new member of this forum. Let me begin by thanking everyone for sharing information about landing in Canada (300+ pages is a lot to read. I will go through it gradually.)

I am preparring for my Canada Trip and I need your help and guidance for the same.

I am planning for a short landing (@ a week's stay) and then returning back at a later date. However, I am stuck at the Goods to Follow list. Will someone please share a sample with me?

I will be landing in Toronto. What is the process of applying for medical insurance at Toronto. Can I apply for it during my first visit or do I have to wait?

Another thing is, I don't know anyone there. So, can I give my hotel address in the PR Form?

Thanks in advance
