yes don't risk it. Take some light warm clothes just in case.

Ensure you purchase emergency health insurance for everyone......since provincial healthcare does not cover until 90days

No tax or need to show source of fund. Fill out for E677 and mark that you are carrying more the $10,000 on the declaration card. Hope you are aware the PA has to bring entire settlement find even if traveling alone for now.

Wouldn't it work out the same when you exchange USD into CAD ? Currently 1 US = 1.73 CAD. Saw this on the net. Not an official exchange rate as I'm not in Canada at the moment.

Hi everyone!
Finally landed after almost 2yrs and 9 months time of applying.
Thank you everyone who helped each other, without this forum i would never have succeeded of doing on my own.

My experience of landing....
I landed on YYZ airport of Toronto though my destination written on application was calgary.
Before lading i had all excitement and stress of going through hurdles during landing. But on landing everything went so smoothly :D
It was a long journey...went straight to the visitor line with COPR and Passport with visa stamped in hand followed to a different line where our COPR was confirmed and asked for us to sign into it confirming our address. We gave out cousin's address as a proof of address where our PR could be sent. Then was asked to go to a counter where we got our SIN card no. and was told that no more sin card will arrive in mail. The number provided was the final paper we had to keep it safe. Finally on our move to Exit- we encounter the officer who asked us how much fund we had carried and foods we were carrying. She just circled the disembarkation form. She never even asked about B4 form or the list of goods to follow that we had prepared.
That was all we went through within 30 minutes we rented a limo car and was on our way to our cousin's place who were waiting for us to arrive.

Hi String11, congratulation.
Nice to see an old forum friend landed successfully.
I'll land in two weeks in Toronto either. U mentioned they never asked about B4 forms. How about your jewelry. It is not in our best interest to get stamped forms for goods accompanied and good to fallow?
And how they goons send you the SIN card if not by mail?
Did you already open bank account, apply for health insurance?
How looks you day like in a new country are you relaxed or still stressed?
I wish u Good luck.
