LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Friends,

Had obtained the IDL from Karama GPO, last month.

Then, today I got my RTA -Dubai-certificate from Al Ramool-Rashidiya (60 AED -2 minutes-only copy of DXB D/L reqd). It is all OK and in English (bilingual). Is it necessary to obtain the attestation from Ministry of Interiors on the certificate?

Hi all and qorax.

We got our passport in end of dec and got only time for two month as my wife passport was expiring.Having no option to go urgent for two days as I'm not ready to move straight away.I am flying on 17 this month for two days and following are my question if u guys can help me .

1. As I mention I am going for two days shall we write 2 days on D.card?does it make any effect?
2. My agent offer me to get service in which I can use ther Canadian address for PR,however I have my relative (but not close )address as well.Which option is safe in terms of fraud or misuse of I'd.
3.what is the best way to get toronto downtown from Pearson Airport?
4.Do they ask for travel insurance at airport if yes where I can get cheap travel insurance online .
5.Do I have to take picture for goods to follows.?

In My COPR. under "Dependant information" the name of both my wife and son is written whereas in my Wife's and Son's COPRS only my name is written, is it okay, or do I need to request LVO to add the name of my Son in my wifes COPR and my wife's name in my Son's COPR.

any one with same problem who have landed successfully?

I will appreciate the replies any one of the forum memebers.

Hi,

1. W/out a CGA, CMA or CPA it'd be pretty tough to get into the same level of position in accounts as u r now. U may enter the field in a junior level (I've seen many get a 'job' in accounts dept.) but rising up will be nearly impossible w/out those quals.

2. As reg. Accounts Jobs in Calgary -- rest assured it'd be the same as in any other province. There r plenty of vacancies everywhere.

3. Staying in Calgary: Unfortunately I'm not aware of any temp. accoms. there for newcomers. Off course "motels" r galore & r a safe bet usually. I've noticed some threads on this forum specific to Calgary -- u may like to log-on there for this info.

any suggestion on which temp insurance(post landing) to buy for first 3 month.

1. Yes, u can (If it's a motel/hotel -- pls remove it's name & place ur name instead in the topmost line of the address).

Weather:
Posibility of being stable:

Also I have 3 kids and thinking whether to bring them with us intantly or just wait for a few month so we, my husband and I, can settle before bringing them over.

I received my passports and COPRs back from CHC Islamabad, there is a mistake in the COPR of my two sons, eroneously they have pasted my little son's pcture on the COPR of my elder son & wise vera, I don't have time for the rectification as the medical of my family & mine will expire on 30th January'2013, we will flying on 27th January'2013. I emailed to CHC Islamabad & seek their advise, but they did'nt responded my email. Kindly advise, what to do ?

In my opinion this is mess up on identity issue which might cause you problems, may be you can resend the mail with urgent inthe subject or try to call them if you could find any number of Canadian embasu in Isalamabad and try to explain them the problem.

Go for ur 'landing' as planned. And inform the BSO, handling ur papers@the Canadian port, about the same (as highlighted in blue).
