Hello,
My wife's visa just got approved. Although i did mention the city of Calgary (where i live) on the application as her city of destination, but can she land in Toronto instead to visit her sister for few days before coming to Calgary?. Do anyone of you know if there would be any problem in doing that?

Thanks.

Should be no problem at all given she is coming on a spouse sponsorship and not any PNP program.

As you know there are very few direct international flights into Calgary so she will complete her landing at Toronto anyway and give your Calgary address for her PR card.

Even if Calgary comes up in the conversation with CBSA should be no issue at all to say she is doing a stop over for a few days.

Okay great, that clarifies everything here. Yes, most of the flights are coming from either Montreal or Toronto anyways. Thanks for the response.
