I have a question. What do you mean by "both copies of the COPR"? Isn't the only COPR the stamping that they put in your passport? Is there another document in addition to this?

When you get your stamped passport back from IRCC, it has following things in your package

1. One time entry visa sticker on your passport
2. Two copies of CoPR, one with photo you sent stick to it which is IRCC copy, the other without photo which is client/your copy

At time of landing, they will retain ircc copy, client copy is handed back to you.

No, it doesn't work out that way :). you should be at same place. If report for anyone turns out to be positive, continue to stay at same place. ArriveCAN app doesn't allow multiple addresses to be entered for quarantine plan.
Can we book any hotel for 14 days as a part of quarantine plan?

Thanks for providing the much helpful details.

Could you please confirm if we are allowed to quarantine at friends place
Really appreciated for the detailing.
Do you recommend directly taking the RTPCR with all the language ( I am traveling alone)from domestic Terminal to the lab Or go to the hotel and then come back.
I am reaching Delhi at 10.00 am and my flight is at mid night

I would recommend you to take test and then go to hotel. In this way, you will provide sample and get results early. You can take a trolley right till the testing centre once you collect your luggage.

Thank you
Ok I will take the test first.
I was a bit confused that will there be a trouble by using trolley and going to the lab which would be on different floor and the crowd over there as well.

You can use lifts as well while using trolley.

This post was really helpful to know what is ahead for all of us waiting for PPR and subsequently making plans. I hope more share their landing experience(s) as it would be good to know how smooth (or not) it was for different individuals and what documents were requested, scrutinised, etc

I am planning to take only 500 CAD with me (family of 3). Other amount I have already transferred to one of my friend who stays in Canada only so can this pose a problem that one is carrying only 500 cad with him

I dont think this will be an issue. If you carry more than 10k CAD in cash, you will have to declare it to immigration while landing

Thank you. I am a December 2020 AOR waiting for the green light on my FSW-O application, so not quite at this stage yet but it's great to know ahead of time what the landing looks like. Hopefully I'll be making the same journey sometime soon!
