LANDED..........
May 22 2014
Hello guys..

I have question about landing at rainbow bridge or fort Erie. I plan landing by drive or walk is more better? Because I'm not really familiar with the road. And also I don't have USA visa. Can anyone give me advise. Thank you.
Secondly do i have to wait CoPR or i can apply health card with my ready for visa email or passport request.

Thank you guys.

I prefer the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie, but that's just me. Basically you need to take the QEW all the way to the end instead of exiting at highway 420.

You have to wait until you have landed and have the CoPR signed before updating SIN and Health Card.

Thank you matt the aussie, so I just say that for landing immigrant or flag pole to USA boarder and turn back to canada isn't? Or have to say anyelse.
Thank you
.
Have good day.

I did mine inland, but apparently it is as simple as telling the US side you are there to "flagpole" and they will give you a letter to take back to the Canadian side.

Correct, that's how it goes. You tell the officer on the US side you're here to flagpole and become
a permanent resident of Canada. He'll issue you a refusal note ( which is not entered in the system, so it won't be
on your file and affect future US visa applications, but is required at the Canadian border ) and then
send you back to Canada :)

Just did mine in the Rainbow... super simple ..I went there 8am Saturday morning. All things were done within 15 min.... no line up... no nothing !!! Fort Erie is kinda far if you live in GTA.
