Lack of people updating the OINP Timeline SpreadSheet

Hello,

Got invitation to apply for OINP.. Application received on the 15th Jan 2016, CEC, CRS 440.
waited for it a long-time and finally got it and submitted.
The thing is, Following the OINP Timeline trend its been so hard to figure out the timeline on how application is been processed. Noticed so many people that entered
their information on the spread sheet never updated. updating the spreadsheet really gives people like me coming behind the process timeframe and this goes a long way.

I'm in pretty much the same point of the process as you. My understanding is the OINP will take about 2.5 months.

I'm with you on this one. Been moderating the sheet for last 3 months (inherited from heeru_mann) but in spite of reminding all forum members to update, not much luck yet. Though, high level timelines seems to be visible but there is a need to check on orphan entries.

Would request forum members browsing this thread to update their signature's with links in support of same. Thanks!!

CEC applicants are processed faster in comparison to FSW outlanders. Expect atleast 30-45 days post AOR for any decision.

Orphan entries refers to those users in spreadsheet who have updated their details either with some other name or have not provided any update post entry in sheet.

I cannot agree more. The things is once people get what they want, they don't bother to inform/update others and move on to the thread that discusses the next stage of the process. I would go out on a limb and call that selfishness. Updating the sheet would tremendously help the applicants who are in the queue.

also how long between time they get appliation, and notification to you that your file is being reviewed?

My OINP reached on Dec 3, 2015, so, looking at your timelines, I should be expecting AOR in one month from now, correct? The processing of OINP is truly slow, but what we can do, just have finger crossed and wait...

I think thats an AOR. right?
First communication - when they issue you an AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) - This corresponds that your application is complete & has been accepted for further review and case no/file no is shared. Your draft is en-cashed at this stage.
Subsequent communication(s) - If OINP needs any further clarification while reviewing your application, they may either call you or e-mail for additional information. You are supposed to respond them within stipulated time frame (ranging from 7 to 30 days) for them to continue with your application processing.

I see on the spreadsheet some people are actually getting a phone call from an officer.

Does anyone know for what purpose? and what kind of questions area asked?

Also, looks like some people getting AOR quicker than others regardless of when submitted.
Do you think different countries have different timeframes, priorities?

My OINP app has been submitted on 8th January and received on 11th January. My timeline is as follows:
EE Profile: 30/11/2015
PT: 04/12/15
App Submitted: 08/1/2016
App Recd: 11/1/2016
AOR: Waiting anxiously
