Hello!
Was wondering anybody hear anything from LA VO recently. Any PPR at all? There's been very few posts on this VO and it used to be a lot more active. Anyone got any news from them lately? Ours went into In Process end of last November. Did the re-medical and still waiting!

Hi

I am also waiting for some update from LA VO. last week had interview.. they told they would extend my medicals.. hoping they do that fast .. hoping for some change in ecas .. still says "application received". :'(

so i checked my ecas and it says IN PROCESS
after one week of interview

I've noticed the same thing. I think it'll start picking up here soon as the next holiday isn't until Late May

hoping for it....
fingers crossed

Same for Vienna

Talked to our MP and she just called me back in 3 hours.
She said our file is for review and they (LA) is not sure whether they want to see my husband or no.
What do u guys think ? If they are not sure they will just let it go
We dont mind if they take our interview but they have to do it fast
I can't go for longer for now because i am on probation at work and can u believe i am working for Federal Government.
I also informed my MP that we decided to redo our medical which she was not happy about
She said we should have waited
She also said LA has some questions to ask my husband.

i told my lawyer that even we should go for re do medicals as we dont know whether they would extend it or not. but he said not until we are told by the VO
i dont know why they say like this. we all want this finish this asap and the VOs do this application thing slowly

if LA has some questions for your husband then hopefully they should schedule your interview very soon or telephonic interview would be good (to save time)
hope this application process goes quick for you..
just hang in there (like all of us :( )

If your medically are close to expire they might just extend it for a few months so you can land. Mine don't expire till August and they told me my CPR can't be extended under any reason. They are rushing me to land! Lol
I think they figure 4 months is enough time for me to land.

Do you guys think i should send case specific inquiry ?
If you know the questions LA would want to ask(should have shown on your GCMS notes), you could answer them by Case Specific or sending them the necessary supporting documents.

Because they have questions, it sounds like they are going to ask for an interview. And I agree with your MPP about the medicals, you probably wasted your money.

Does it mean it will take another 6 months?
MP said they are not sure yet if they want to meet my husband but they have few questions

I'm not sure how long it'll be, but just by the fact they have questions for him, that kind of sets up the idea of a possible interview. But it's also possible they will just call or send a letter and give you a deadline to reply back.

We never ordered notes because my lawyer disagrees
Do you guys think i should do it on my own?
I am in canada. Can you please forward me instructions how to do it?
