Can one go to LA visa office and get passport stamped or does it HAVE to be mailed after a passport request. If one goes to the Visa office, is it stamped right away? How long is it taking for LA to stamp and send back passports if mailed. Thank you.

you cannot go by yourself. you have to send the passport thru post..
wish it was like that.. it would be so easy.. but

Has to be mailed, it tends to just sit there for a while. Took ours a month.

Wow. Really. 2 months is awfully long. I hope its sooner.
