LA VAC Processing time

Awesome and Thank You !! I checked again and its moving from IRCC to VAC for me too.
I have never gotten a single email though lol, now hopefully the VAC ships it back soon.

I didn't get any email regarding the status, I always depend on chat support for details. VFS entered the wrong mail ID while creating the ticket.

My passport was received at IRCC LA on Nov 17th and no update yet. I have travel planned soon. Anybody know what current processing time is with IRCC LA ?

Hi Guys,

I submitted my passport to VAC LA on Feb 14, 2024 and they sent it to IRCC on Feb 16, 2024. It has been almost a month and no update yet. I applied under FSW Express Entry. Does anyone know what the holdup could be and when can I expect a decision?

Mine was received by IRCC on Feb 16. Still waiting on an update. I think it is a known delay particularly at this location. Did you apply under FSW Express Entry?

I applied for PR, I sent in my passport and they recieved it on 3/14/2024, it was under process on 3/15/2024 at the IRCC office, and I didn’t hear anything back until today 5/3/2024, stating the decision envelope has been dispatched from ircc, to the VAC in Los Angeles. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the desicion envelope ?

I don’t think we know current timelines, given how few recent posts we have for this thread. You might be our current benchmark. Thank you for posting! Hopefully yours arrives quickly.
