LA Passport Turn Around Time

Hi All:
I still haven't received my passport....I have emailed / Faxed et al and no response.

Here's my time line

Passport received by LA Consulate = April 22nd, 13
Cashier's check cashed = May 10th, 13

And still waiting.....

I sent Fed Ex return envelope -- My mistake, I didn't know they only use USPS.

So, I'm not sure what to do....Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated !!!!

Thank you. If I knew that, it was so difficult to get the visa, I would have applied for multiple entries. Stupid of me! Next year I have to go through all the process again .

What is your TRV duration for a single entry .?

My visa validity is until end of October. My friend who is going on the same trip with me applied for mulitple entries (very wise indeed) got 3 years visa.

Crydso : I did get the response, by email, from the Consulate yesterday. I think they responded to my fax, not my email.

Just received my PP back with a Visa stamp for 1 year from LA consulate. Wasn't expecting it so fast.

Time lines :

Applied online : May 1st
PP request : May 27th
PP received by LA consulate : May 29th
PP received : June 1st.

NOTE : I have attached a covering letter to process it urgently with my US visa appointment date letter to it.

Nothing has come about for me yet. I have faxed and emailed several times, not sure what to do.

This is so frustrating.

Hi Rita_1234....can you please tell when did you send the fax and when was the reply? Did they take days to reply?

I am really really surprised!!

Although the approval took time, the stamping in LA was super quick!
Online application - 5/3/2013
Request to send PP - 5/28/2013
Passport received by LA - 6/4/2013 (sent it on 6/3)
PP received - 6/7/2013

Applied online: May 7
PP request: June 5
PP mailed: June 6
PP delivered at LA Consulate: June 10
PP received back stamped: June 13 (11:30am)

i have submitted on April 15. and i have still not received any request for sending passport. i have already bought all tickets :'(

Not sure what they are investigating. I was supposed to attend a family gathering on May 27th, 13....
