LA Consulate Info

Hi,
I am in a very strange situation. I sent my passport to LA on Dec 6th via Priority Express Mail. USPS tracking is not working for me(strange I know ). So I am not sure if my passport reached LA. USPS folks say because of the snowstorm in the midwest, package "may" have been delayed.

I checked my status in GIC today and it says "A final decision has been reached This application has been approved". Does this mean they got my Passport and stamped it?

Can someone please respond? I have no way of knowing where my passport is
I mailed the embassy twice asking for confirmation that they received my passport and they have not replied back yet.

If your application is closed, then you will receive a letter of POE. But did you finally check the usps return envelope tracking information? Did they send any email if they send back your passport?
