Hi,
below are Korea PCC requirements from IRCC website (
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/korea-south.html):
However, as of February 13, 2024 "background check (criminal records) certificate (신원조사(범죄경력)증명서)" has changed to "criminal (investigation) records check report (범죄· 수사경력 회보서)" according to various embassy links which are in Korean:
relevant part translated in google translate:
Foreigners can't get "background check (criminal records) certificate (신원조사(범죄경력)증명서)" that IRCC website mentions anymore, we can only get report named "criminal (investigation) records check report (범죄· 수사경력 회보서)" that is required from Korean citizens.
So how can we apply with this change?
Will docs not be returned due to name discrepancy in IRCC website and the one we get from Korea?

In accordance with the revision of the “National Police Agency and its affiliated organizations,” etc. (implemented on October 30, 2023), the name of the certificate issued from February 13, 2024 was changed from “Crime Investigation (Criminal History) Certificate” to “Crime/Investigation History Report” ( Please note that the name of the form has been changed (the content is the same) and the related form is attached.
