Yesterday received citizneship certificate by mail and today my status tracker moved to close. Mysterious ways of IRCC continue
With this, all dealings with IRCC are over for me. What a relief!

Hi all
Our ceremony (I and my wife) was on February 21 (Family day), NGF. We have not yet received our certificates. Is it normal? Some people have received their certificates a few days after the oath ceremony. BTW, our online application status was changed to "Closed" on February 23.

Had my oath on the same day (Feb 21, NGF office), tracker changed to closed on Feb 22 (updated Feb 23), also haven't received my certificate yet. BUT it looks like people with their oath on Feb 14 and Feb 17 just received their certificates the past couple of days and today.
I think we'll receive ours early next week hopefully!

I didn’t even pay attention to when exactly the “waiting for you “ disappeared . One would think by now if there was an issue we would have been notified.

Not necessary I think because it is so dynamic and is different for almost every case as to the reasons why they don't change to 'completed'.

I have been going through many comments regarding the test completion updation. Pointing out those i had read:

1. Test completed. Status updated in a day or two
2. Test completed. Status updated in two weeks
3. Test completed. Waiting for you disappeared after 2 days. Status updated to completed after a few days
4. Test completed. Waiting for you never disappeared. All parameters changed to Completed after 3 months
5. Test completed. Test status changed back to "Not Started". IRCC contacted since test got invalidated for some reason
6.Test completed. Got a mail after a few days asking to send the ID copy
7. Test completed. Failed.Interview / Re-scheduled
8. Test completed. Got a request for an interview too

And this is what I was alluding to in my previous post that every case where its not been updated to 'completed' could have a variety of reasons attached to it and as beautifully laid down in points by our friend, I am still not certain where I fall in the above scenarios, my 'waiting on you' disappeared a few days after I took the test and then the so called 'ghost update' 9 days after I took the test and now its 2 days short of a month and nothing still. But yes, 4 will be my preferred option.

4 months after test was completed. No update.

Received my certificate today from NGF office! Just like you guys said, exactly 2 weeks after oath lol.

Oath date: Feb 21, 2022 (Family Day)
Tracker Closed: Feb 22, 2022
Certificate Received: Mar 7, 2022

Hi,

I am in process of submitting an online application for a family member.

I just realized that "POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE" was not asked anywhere in the entire application?

Does this mean, one has to submit PCC only if asked by IRCC later during the process?

Please clarify.
