Any update from Kitchener’s based applicants.

Nope. All sections complete (except oath) and DM since January 13. No word from them yet.
It usually takes about 2 to 4 months from DM to getting the oath invite. I had my DM December 15 and got the oath invite January 24 for February 14. Good luck and all the best

I got Decision Made yesterday (January 27). Hopefully it won't take ages to get my oath invite.

Sorry for what feels like a very basic question but could someone please clarify if 'Decision Made' is a status update, or if 'Decision Made' is equivalent to having all sections (except oath) marked as 'complete'? I have all sections complete but my status is 'In Progress', and am just wondering if what's left for me is just the Oath invite, or if I should expect to see a 'change' to DM and *then* the Oath invite. Thanks!

Decision Made (on the old ECAS status tool) is equivalent to having all sections complete except oath (on the new citizenship tracker). So no, you won't see any other change to DM on the new tracker, the next update will be the oath invite/date. If you were to login to the old ECAS tool and check it now, it should show DM if all your sections on the new tracker are complete (except oath).

Up until last year the only way to check your application status was using the ECAS tracker, which only shows the major changes i.e application received, in process, any communications sent and decision made. Back then you'd have to rely on GCMS notes to get a detailed picture of the status of specific sections. It's good that they now introduced this new one.

Sadly, no. :( There was a storm of oath invites late last week and early this week, but it's been quiet since.
My DM was on Dec 31, 2021 and all sections on the tracker except oath complete. Still waiting for the oath invite now.

Aha, thank you very much for the detailed explanation - that explains my confusion from reading (much) older threads with regards to this :)

they just want to see your id's, PR landing paper, passport etc in a video chat setting. Just keep all your important papers and docs handy.
