Citizenship test invite: 24 Dec 2021
Citizenship test taken: 30 Dec 2021
Citizenship test complete: 12 Jan 2022

Decision Made in ECAS: 12 Jan 2022
Citizenship ceremony: not started

Any idea how long it will be to get the oath invite? I am going on a trip on April 30th, is it too optimistic to think I could have the passport in hand by then?

My test cleared to complete on January 05, 2022. All others still in Process. I am family applicant.

It depends on the application. There are many people still waiting for oath invite. Some have been waiting for over 5 months. I have been waiting for almost 2 months now.

Got an email from Niagara Falls IRCC office with details about my ceremony. But my application was processed in Kitchener. Bit weird but i will take anything at this point

Congrats! I've been seeing online that a lot of virtual oath ceremonies are being handled by the Niagara office now irrespective of your local IRCC office, so it seems to be normal.

Any update on oath for anyone else? It's been pretty quiet for so far. I saw a few facebook posts where people from Nov and Dec 2019 are getting invited for oath in February 2022. I'm not sure what that means for us, and how much more the wait is.

Nope. I saw few post on a different group that are January 2021 applicant and have already got oath invite. I think it depends on where you live. It's. Been 2 months for me with no oath

It seems the Kitchener office is slow to provide oath invites. Either they wait for a batch of applicants to be oath-ready before mass-inviting them, or they're outsourcing to the Niagara Office so now we're waiting on the Niagara office to contact us...

I am moving out of the city at the end of the February to area which is covered by another visa office.

I have decision made and waiting for oath. I communicated with office that I will be out of country and they told me to give them a proof that I am back, which I did.

Its been 3 months since I received decision made and they told me to wait up to 4 months.

My question is should I contact them and tell that I am moving at the end of the month and ask if they can expedite my oath?

Or that will mean that they will move me to the new office right away?
