New tracking website says BG completed on April 2nd. The rest is all “in process” except for the test and oath.

WHY 12 MONTHS FOR A PASSPORT?
i was getting confused with process--> i thought after oath i need to apply for citizen certificate (for which it states 12-15 month on CICI site) and than i can apply for passport.
but after discussing with couple others understood that citizen ship certificate are provided at the time of oath ( not sure how it works in this virtual ceremony times, my guess they will send it by mail in week or two) and so the process to get canada passport from oath is merely a month or so.
thx for reply

The citizenship certificate will be sent to you after you submit the oath form via email. IRCC says it takes up to 4 weeks for the citizenship certificate to arrive (depending on where you live). Not sure if they are printed centrally and shipped or if the local office prints and ships it.

Once you receive the oath certificate, you can apply to Passport Canada for a new passport. The current timelines for a mail-in passport application is around 20 business days.
