I found out that my office is Vancouver not Kitchener. I live here in Kitchener. I don’t know how they sent my file to west end of the country.

Your file would be in Kitchener but for some reason, people have been reporting fingerprint requests from Vancouver even though their application is in a totally different office

Guys, is there any referable data showing Kitchener office is slower than other IRCC offices? I’ve seen many other applicants from other cities saying their office is the slowest ...

Fingerprints always go to Vancouver office no matter where you are in Canada.

At this point I think the evidence is just anecdotal or the sample size is not large enough. I'm inclined to think that even if it was slower, it would not be by a lot.

Is there any way to contact K office? I tried the phone # found on google and it’s not assigned

I don't think so! I am so annoyed and tired of waiting
If I remember correctly, there was someone in the forum who had asked CIC to contact the local office about the delay, maybe through the webform... not sure how effective it can be, but maybe can give the local office a signal at least. Also maybe MP office is able to contact the local CIC office?

I will try to reach out to them. Anyway, my BG is still under processing!

The Feedback form is a way to convey unmet expectations. This is where we can voice our complaints directing to a specific office.
Use this link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx
You can choose "Unmet Expectation" and hit continue. Then select "Processing Times" from the drop down.
I've done this in the past for spousal sponsorship application and I can't say definitively that it worked, but the whole spousal sponsorship process has been fastracked since last year.
