8) I took my oath this morning and the officer informed us that we can apply for passport by tomorrow. The two days wait after oath is no more applicable.

Wish those still waiting the best of luck.

Does anyone know how long it takes for CIC to confirm travel records? My passport wasnt stamped all 3 times that I traveled and I was told at the interview (July 25) that they would have to contact CBSA to confirm my info. Im yet to get an invite for the oath ceremony.

Have you heard anything? I did my test on the same day as you. but they said they need to check with CBSA on my 3 trips as my passport was not stamped. I still haven't heard anything since July 25.

UPDATE! :D

Application Recieved on October 25, 2013.

Letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 25, 2013.

We started processing your application on December 27, 2013.

We sent you a notice on June 19, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 25, 2014 at 8:30 AM.

July 25, 2014 - Test Score 20/20 - Interview took about 20 Mins - Concern was raised about my passport not being stamped for 2 of my trips and said he would request CBSA report.

December 9, 2014 - Phone call from CIC officer, apologizing for the delay in my application, he assured me that all is well with my application and that they were clearing a backlog which was now completed. He said I should get the oath invite soon.

Dec 19, 2014. I received the Oath Invite scheduled for January 13, 2015.

Moral of my story = Go to the test with a copy of the CBSA Report.. Very Crucial!!!! I would have saved myself some 6 months of waiting.

Good Luck!

I couldn't believe either. He first called me at home, left a message and then called me at work. He was so polite and apologetic . He assured me that he was approving my file as we spoke and that I would hear from the office not too long after, exactly 10 days later, the letter landed in my mail box. :D ;D

Congrats, I had almost the same situation as you, except for more unstamped trips. Hopefully, I wont have to wait as long as you did. I asked the citizenship officer at the interviewed how long it takes to get the report and she said its about 48 hours and that its not a big deal for them to get. She said it should not add to wait period for the oath (knock on wood :)). . . I assumed wrong that they would have checked CBSA records as part of their internal control . . . despite the fact that I consented on the application forms to pull the records. Although, I did not have the CBSA report with me, but I doubt if would have made any difference as the officer insisted that she cannot use what I have but what she can independently confirm.
