I just received a letter with date for citizenship test for July 25th. I just need to know if I will study book Discover Canada, all the questions are from this book?

Thanks

Yes, all questions are from this book, but make sure you read this book in its entirety. Sometimes questions are from sections you just breeze through....

coolblues1980, why is Kitchener slow? How long does it take to schedule test after transfer to Kitchener?

Kitchener is relatively faster - the time from application to oath for Kitchener applicants has on average been 9 months for routine applications which is pretty good.

I'm in the Kitchener area. We applied in Aug 2011. They started processing our applications in June 2012. At that time they sent me an RQ. I sent it back with the requested documentation within a month. We took our tests in March 2014 and had our oath ceremony 23-Apr-2014.

hi im wondering if they told you if there was no judge. I wrote my exam on march 19th 2014 and since then i have not received an oath ceremony letter.

They didn't tell us there was no judge. When we had the interview after taking the test it was really brief. They took a quick look at our passports and landing documents and told us we could expect the invitation to the oath ceremony in 1-3 months.

I hope you get yours soon.

Good to know that your application has moved forward. Is there any reason why you were RQed?

well i think because i travelled alot . i had lots of stamp in my passport and i translate all of them and gave it to the officer in interview.

Congrats

Do I have to take also kids with me for test? They are 10 and 8 years old. The letter for for test is only for my wife and me. No word about the kids. They are automatically aproved, I think, because they are under 18. I call CIC tommorow.

Thanks

I did my test today (Me, my wife and daughter, kids 10 and 8 dont need interview, they are already aproved). Finish in 5 minutes for 100%. Interview, mostly checking documents, about 10 minutes, Oath probably end of august or begining September.

Good luck for everybody.
