It was nice and breezy over here yesterday, Mr P, but now the heat has come down again. I can totally understand your analogy, haha. Hmm, that makes me feel bad about roasting breadfruit now.

Last time I did roast breadfruit and introduced my husband to it, he tried it and decided it it was OK, kind of like a weird french fry! So then he sprinkled a little vinegar and salt over it, and next thing I know, I am doing it to mine too!

Im gonna borrow that idea next time... im not big on breadfruit unless its fried. Wont even bother to give it to the wife cause i know she wont like it. she's big on texture, im surprise she even likes guinep.

That's funny, I make fried roasted breadfuit with a sprinkle of nutmeg cinnamon and maple syrop !!!

Welcome to the KG forum cooking class, hahaha. Yeah, Mr P it was fried roasted breadfruit that he sprinkled the vinegar and salt on. I tried him with just the roasted breadfruit with butter, but he wasn't having any of it. He likes guinep too, but you won't get him anywhere near boiled bananas! He doesn't mind fried plaintain.

RG, I like that idea, but no maple syrup around, LOL.

Hope everyone is well
I just got back from Jamaica-of course its beautiful as always!!! I am so sad to be home it sucks :'(. Just to think how much time has gone by already since i've applyed! WOW I cannot believe it. Soon enough they will call me and I too will be jumping for joy

As per breadfruit **sick face** Mrs P you're nicer than my husband cause he made me try it and let me tell you the texture is just awful in the mouth i refuse to ever try it again... but i don't mind boiled banana and plantain...

It is nice and a little too sunny in Kingston, haha! Are you planning to bring Mr l_w back home soon? I am here, would be great to see you guys again, we can go for Japanese and educate his palate. Aside from a trip home to see my family for Heroes' Weekend, I have no plans to go anywhere else. Unless of course, KG gives me a miracle, bahahaha! :

hahaha Charlie.. I am just checking out the weather because I envy all the ones travelling and hubby and I started talking about when we could go for a visit... his mom missing him lots... I don't think it will be before snow falls lol... i will definatly let you know when you decide when we are going.... btw i dont think Mr would like the Japanese lol I tried to bring him at the sushi place here and he hated it... he said NEVER AGAIN lol hahahahahaha... Kingston will give you that miracle soon enough lol... you getting closer and closer each day
