hello forum peeps, i have a question for any of our knowledgeable friends. here goes , if one's BF date came and went without any movement on the app how do i know when is the next BF date. thanx in advance guys

You can try sending a case-specific enquiry to KG, mylilangel. Given that they have requested the re-do, the BF date is when they should check to see if they have received it. No harm in sending them one. Email them and say they asked for it, and it was submitted on such and such date.

Nope certianly did not mean it to be offessive. I never said I thought being big was wrong, or ugly or anything. Remember I am still a big girl, and I think being happy with your self is all that matters as long as your weight is not a serious threat to your health. I've just had enough of that stereo type living here, especially fairly close to a tourist area. So to take the comment offensively, is to misunderstand what I meant. The stereo type exists..very strongly so, and I just am tired of the stereotyping and if this is one less I don't have to deal with...that would be nice. Its like a personal challenge for me to overcome a stereotype that has been a very real and hurtful presence in my life. Try living for years in a country where people think that your man is fair game because your a big girl and he can't possibly really love you!! Its something thats very personal to me, and something I want to overcome and not have to deal with in Canada.

Apologies to anyone who felt I was insulting them. I meant no hurt or offense. I'm a very blunt person, and sometimes my words run faster than my common sense! Perhaps I am to open on here, I assumed that I had bonded enough with many on this forum that my words would not be misunderstood as an insult. I thought all girls on here would understand that this stereo type goes hand in hand with the ones regarding age differences, people wanting mixed babies, assuming people are deseperate and unable to get a man back home etc etc. All the stereotypes many of us have faced due to the prejudicial views people have on relationships between island people and people from farrin both on the islands and abroad!! I thought my words would be understood, but its apparent they were not and instead were interpreted as an insult. I apologize sincerely and will carefully watch what I say in the future!!
Anyways I truely believe that everyone has a story, and yes everyone has been through trials with this journey. I'm not suggesting I have it any harder than anyone else. I also believe again that beauty comes in every size, shape or age. I am the last person to judge someone despite how it might sound. I was far to blunt about a hurtful stereotype that I am very against and believe to be a ridiculous and unfair stereotype. I am truely sorry you guys. Looking back, I wish I had realized how wrong it sounded, and how rude and hurtful it came out as, and I wish I had been able to remove it or reword what I was saying before it was read and taken as a hurtful offensive comment.

Yo sorry..I'm having like the worst day in history right now, and then I saw this. So I'm babbling and you guys are getting emotional overflow from my day as well as this combined.

So I'm going to shut up now and just say Im truely sorry, and definately feeling a bit akward about being on here after this!

SQ - you're just riding the rollercoaster with all of us, sometimes it can be hard to judge the spirit in which the written word is meant because we can't hear tone of voice or see facial expression. I this most people realise by now, you meant no harm or insult, and all's well that ends well, so don't feel too badly about it! I hope you can still feel comfortable sharing and being around the forum, you're very much a part of our little forum fam!

Well, I am a little on the emotional side with you tonight, after visiting for our anniversary on Sunday, hubby goes back to Canada tomorrow. I hate it when he leaves, even though every time he comes home to me, it's like he never left! Have to see him off early in the morning, so I'm off for the night.

G'night folks. Treasure your loved ones, near or far, if you have to love them from a webcam or if you are lucky enough to hold them tight for a little while, still count your love a blessing.

I did feel pretty bad when I logged back in and saw peoples responses, and then re read what I wrote and realized how horribly rude it sounded, and how it would have come across. I can't imagine what I was thinking. I know I was on a train of thought, and wrote it while thinking in my own little world, never realizing how it would come across to others. So there is really no excuse, I meant no harm but it came out all wrong. Wrong wording, wrong meaning, wrong interpretation!

Thanks for being so kind about it and making me still feel welcome here. Appreciate it so much. I do love and accept and find beauty in all shapes and sizes and have never defined beauty by societies conventional definitions. So please accept my apologies forum family...I was so far out of line in the way I expressed myself and truely did not mean it like that at all.

Morning everyone,

SQ - glad you feel better. Just keep on keeping on, hon, we all stumble many times. It's about how often we pick ourselves up, my adopted dad always told me.

I don't want to get off on a rant here, but I was ambivalent about Caribbean Airlines buying Air Jamaica, and between yesterday and today I got enough proof it was a terrible thing. I was on hold for 20 minutes yesterday to get someone to reconfirm my husband's flight, which had NEVER happened before, and when I was in the tourism industry, reconfirming flights was something I did every day at one point. 20 minutes! And the first thing the rep asks me is, did I try Air Jamaica. First off, "Air Jamaica" isn't even listed in the phone book anymore, and when I tried the number I had for them, it didn't work!

This morning when we got to NMIA, there was a line stretching the entire length of Departures for the TO flight. The flight number was not displayed anywhere, and it took another 20 minutes for my husband to find someone who would tell him what the heck was going on. His flight was supposed to depart at 8:05, he was not checked in until 8:00, and the flight is still not boarded as I write! Apparently, there was a system changeover last night, and rather than have enough agents on hand for manual check-in, the staff apparently just prayed they would manage with one agent. One! Well, they didn't manage, and the flight is late. Thank God he doesn't have a connecting flight and the bus doesn't leave until late tonight, I know there are some other very angry people Caribbean Airlines will be hearing from today! My husband has just decided he's not flying with them ever again, so they can kiss his frequent flying behind goodbye!

OK, I am tired, and too anxious to sleep until I know he's in the air. Marvelous. /rant.
