Hey canuck!

Been busy for awhile, odd I know, considering I wasn't working, but somehow it worked out that way!

Since knowing that KG has my file, I have gone into a sort of hibernation mode on it, LOL. I'm happy to just watch the 2010 apps get squared away, I will start getting excited about my own again when I see something happening with 2011 files. Irving is first up for some news at Jan 2011, so once something starts happening with her file, we will know 2011 is on a roll!

Just from my experience as an accountant, small business owners are some of the busiest people there are, because you are the boss and there is no leaving work to go home at the end of the day, haha. Quite often many of these businesses are home-based, so the line between work and home is even more blurry. Good on the Mrs for taking it on though, gotta admire the entrepreneur spirit!

That's great Canuck, my wife started one a year ago too....... lessens or daily talk time and my chances of seeing her since she cant just up and leave anymore but hopefully soon this will all be over.

Charlie: I don't know how you maintain that cucumber vibe when I'm here hanging on to my sanity by a thread. You deserve a medal, for that and for being here for us.

Good on Mrs P, Mr P! I'm sure the extra income doesn't compensate for lost time together, but like you said, it will soon change.

LOL @ cucumber vibe. You are the ones that deserve the medals, don't you realise? People like you and Mrs P who are apart most of the waiting time, and even if you hang on by a thread, you are still hanging on, and that is the point! I count my blessings, my husband comes to visit me every chance he gets, and because he works for himself, he can "run off" every now and again. Not everyone has it that good, so I refuse to moan about my circumstances when you are all standing before me and holding together. The longest part of the wait is over for you, Mr P, but the example you set is good for people like me, so keep on truckin'.

certainly excited, my son's case is a bit challenging tho but keeping fingers cross he is 24 will be 25 in December may be graduating from university before this process is thru hope it doesnt happen, recently the visa office requested info from me regarding him we sent back an answer in May BF date was June 6 so waiting to hear next steps, as far as my spouse is concerned they just asked for rprf and police certificate from JA which they should already have my mistake with the rprf could have paid it sooner but thought I would have had to pay for each applicant it turned only one they gave a deadline of August 20 to have them submitted

Hello everyone and congrats to all the families that has been reunited and the ones who are in waiting. I have been reading and praying from a distance. My application was returned in May because my husband's son who is 21 had not done his medical or police check, eventhough he would not be coming to Canada. I had to send a letter explaning why. I got an e-mail saying my sponsorship is now approved and application sent to Kingston June 3rd and is in process. Let the waiting begin...... Charlie please update. Thanks
