Yep, I hope there are more updates this week as it rolls on, the days of summer are nearing and now is a good time to travel, LOL. All too soon it will be September, the temperatures will start plummeting and people may not be nearly so excited about packing up to leave Jamaica, haha!
I find that now that my application is (hopefully) transferred to KG, I am not so worried about it anymore. I am more focused on getting a new job now; staying at home is wonderful, but I miss working. I have looked on it as a sign of my independence and usefulness since I was 20 years old, downtime like this has been rare and thankfully short-lived, because after a while I start questioning my worth to society, LOL. Now that KG's timeline has increased to 17 months (
), I am even more determined to work again, to have an outside focus through the waiting period.
Well, I think I need to turn on the fan, this mugginess due to this trough is enervating! Come next week hurricane season starts, I hope all the Jamaicans have their emergency plans well thought-out, they are predicting a very active season again this year, and if the earthquakes are anything to go by, Mother Nature is in a foul mood this year. ???
