I sure hope everthing is ok. Sometimes I tend to wonder if they misplaced his pp and is trying to use delayed tactics so that they can relocate it. Honestly, I really wouldn't want them to return it without the visa and then after his return we have to go over the process of waiting again. I want to contact my MP about it this morning but I am a bit worried that I may rock the boat to much and then they sabotage us even more by holding it longer!!!!

Ramdont...I would be fumig by now....this is utterly ridiculous....as if you have not waited long enough!!!! I would have everyone involved at this point. I however would have to waiver between requesting back for the PP or waiting for it as you have already waited 2 months. Its a tough decision I know!!!

Call your MP, let them know how peeved you guys are that KG is holding up his employment and life, this is WRONG and unacceptable!!! They have no valid reason for the delay and I would DEMAND they issue the VISA today, enough of their BS!! you need to get mad girl

by the way, they have already made a decision on your file to issue the VISA, they do not request the PP if they have made a decision to deny it. SO create some BIG waves, you are entitled to do that

Ramdont... I dunno how you can wait so long... I would be harrassing with emails and getting the MP involved so they can file complaints in Ottawa as this is not normal... but on the other hand I totally understand what you mean by you don't want to sabotage anything... I think getting your MP involved at this point will not hurt your case or you can order the caips like it was previously mentionned which I think could help in your case...

Thank you all for your suggestions, I called my MP's office so they told me they will send an email to Kingston so they should respond to them by next week. I just hope I get a favourable response. My God these people are so heartless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to be done with them once and for all!!!!!

Just snenaking a quick look to s ee if any updates @ work but on break(typing fast sorry if any mistakes) Icotntacted my MP he said no reply from kgn i said thought they HAD to r espond he said no but they HAVE TO take action on what he has asked about my docs/meds missing? so i said where go from here? he said will contactg ottawa for me 9CAIPS notes) & they can tell him what has happened. do you think that is good news? heard LONELY mention that MP will file a complaint to ottawa but is that what he means? can he fwd me copy of notes? what action can ottawa do? i'm till a bit confuseds but just have to wait another 2-3wks (maybe sooner) intil hje gets back to me

RAMDONNT your situation is sticky but a decision has to be made I would contact the MP and explain as CHARLIE said why is it taking them so long fr him to just pick up?

irving... wow -47 i hope you stay by your computer and advise you not to go outside... they are calling for -37 here in timmins, ontario... I am here visiting my mom I was suppose to leave on monday early morning but I never left lol.... so imma try to leave tomorrow early morning if my car starts lol I don't have a block heater anyways MP does not necessarily speed things up but they can get answers to some questions we may have... they are able to contact the ministers office in ottawa also to speak with people that have access to our computer files.. they don't always see everything but they can get more info than us as individuals could get as most emails and fax that we send are not being answered....

I have contacted my MP at several times during the process and all the emails that he sent to Kingston none were answered back by the high commission... He even faxed and that was never answered... not even acknowlegment letter was received... The MP did call Ottawa numerous times for me and they verify in my computer file and where able to answer some questions though not all.... which kidda help cause I was sending a million emails daily and I was getting fed up... If you look at older post you will see that I had went to Jamaica in october and went to the embassy cause me and hubby had certain questins and once we were in and our number came up the guy at the desk told us that my husband was not in the system and they didn't have his file... upon my return in canada I contacted the MP who called Ottawa right away and they advised me that my file was indeed in Kingston and in process... thankfully that eased my mind... I have noticed that some MP will not want to help if you are not past the 15 mths mark as they tell you that you are within the timelines of immigration canada...

IO mean Immigration officer... btw my IO is bugging the crap out of me... he or she misplaced hubby medical and now we are waiting cause of there mistake arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

chukie... I spoke with the MP yesterday we are just waiting for my CAIPS and medica file to come in and if it's there screw up trust me... I'm gonna freak out and we already know that it's there fault so they will have one angry lady to deal with lol... So then the MP will call Ottawa to place a complaint against Kingston.... And my MP already placed a complaint to Ottawa as they are not answering to emails and fax no acknowledgement nothing... I am fed up on these people trust me.... I hope none of my family members or friends ever have to deal with these idiots... OMG I can't believe these people sorry lol I am venting... On the good side of things it looks like there is a few updates and seems like a few IO are working hard and reuniting families...

Hi everyone, congrats to all those who have gotten an update. Well as of today my medical is up. Do anyone knows how long it takes to get a medical redo. I am trying not to wonder this process but it is not easy. It would be nice if i could hear something before my birthday which March 26.

BTW i checked the CIC site, this was updated on the 22/02/11, processing for Jamaica moved from 15mponths to 16 months. what the hell dem doing to take that long.

Another day has passed and Kingston is still holding my hubby's pp at ransome. Boy, sometimes I feel like stop praying, I feel like my prayers are being ignoredbut it's the devil at hand. LORD I AM CRYING OUT TO YOU, PLEASE NOT ONLY HEAR ME BUT LISTEN TO ME LORD .ALL I WANT IS FOR MY FAMILY TO BE REUNITED. YOU PROMISE NEVER TO LEAVE US ALONE BUT I FEEL LIKE I'M ALONE LORD. YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF THOSE IMMIGRATION OFFICERS, IT IS IN YOUR POWERS TO NUDGE THEM TO RELEASE THAT FILE LORD. PLEASE LORD I NEED YOUR DIVINE INTERVENTION ,PLEASE TOUCH THE HEART OF THE OFFICER DEALING WITH MY HUSBAND'S FILE THAT THEY MAY RELASE IT BEFORE THE END OF THIS MONTH LORD. I SUBMIT MY REQUEST TO YOU NOT ONLY FOR ME BUT EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY TO BE WITH THEIR LOVED ONES. AMEN.
