Hey, based on what I have read, you should get it back on the same day if all is well and everything is in order. What date did you submit your application? Is it possible for you to share your timeline with the group?

Oh wow! Yes- same as the answer above mine. Typically for Kingston, they seem to stamp passports on the same day as the interview. Did you have an interview or they just asked for the passport?

Was wondering if anyone else was asked for originals of the Police certificate and Schedule A? Kingston has requested this today. We had already submitted through the web form and was wondering if this is somethign to be concerned about?

We were surprised at first, for sure... but after having had the chance to think about it, we're relieved and grateful. Not only does he have to do the US FBI clearance- but Canadian RCMP clearance. We would much rather wait now, and go into the interview with everything prepared- opposed to some who sadly are sent out the door after the interview with things to do and left in limbo again. It feels so amazing to finally have a date, that alone is a huge weight off of our shoulders. Plus- 7 months and 2 weeks is much, much less of a wait than it used to be and what many of the original sponsors on this forum had to endure.

I'm actually leaving next Saturday for JA for 5 weeks- so when i return it'll only be 2.5 months apart.

So in short, surprised yes- but ultimately grateful and positive its for good reason.

hi everyone, i received aor1 on April 14th and today my husband received a medical request, also i cannot link my application but o the daily application status online tool it said that my sponsorship application decision has been made, does this mean i have been approved!!??
