Recieved an update on mycic kvo requesting passport two passport size pictures and $490 . My hubby also got scheduled for an interview mid September 2017 don't know if this is a passport request or not plza help

hi everyone, i received aor1 on April 14th and today my husband received a medical request, also i cannot link my application but o the daily application status online tool it said that my sponsorship application decision has been made, does this mean i have been approved!!??

Yes that means that you have been approved as a sponsor congrats!! As for linking I had issues doing this also. You have to fill it out completley correct, my issue was with "the city you were born" question for my spouse it had to have a dot in between and they used St.Elizabeth instead of the small town. Hope this will help. I called immigration with my husband on the line and that way he was able to ask exactly what it should say.

I think it depends on the outcome of the interview. If it is a successful interview, then they usually issue the COPR right then and there. Congrats. What is your timeline if you don't mind me asking?

Good evening, gearing up for our application to be submitted in a few days; just waiting on mail he sent by post May 2, they said 2.5 weeks. Ugh was there early april and he signed all the forms but forgot one box. And I was just too distracted with him. Missing him. Our journey has been long and has been fraught with ups and downs but we both remained committed. What is the average time? I remember my friend back a few years ago waited almost 30 months.

It seems like the next batch of us are on 8 - 9mths wait. 4 of us have September interviews. But before that people seemed to be getting through 4-6 mths. So really hard to know.

Got an interview for September 7th for my Hubby. Was good and bad news, slightly disappointing since I am not able to visit him due to being pregnant. So fingers crossed all will go well with the interview and will get the visa same day!!!!

from start to end some people are getting by with as little as 4 months and some up to 9 months still very reasonable considering it used to be up to two years.

Can anyone tell me how long regular mail from Canada to Jamaica takes? Also can someone tell me how much a package from Jamaica to Canada will cost? He has the application to send me. Thanks for your help.

From Jamaica to Canada via DHL ( 3 days shipping) my husband paid a little over $5000 JMD. From Canada to Jamaica it's probably gonna cost you anywhere from $85-$100 CAD via Canada post. Delivery time (3-7days).

Thank you for your reply. DHL is not close but FedEx is hopefully it will be around the same price. I sent some forms for him to sign by regular mail from here to Jamaica and it's been nearly a month and still hasn't arrived.

Does he have access to a computer? Or know someone who could help him with it if he isn't comfortable using one? Just wondering if you could email hom the completed forms, have him print them out, sign and send via Fedex to you?
